13 Ağustos akşamında, Teğmen Kennedy önderliğinde başlayan operasyonlar zincirinde sıra medya tarafına geldi. Yasadışı örgütlerle beraber işbirliği yapan, onların propagandalarını yapan ve hatta Teğmen Kennedy'e ağır hakaretler içeren bir haber yayınlayan Vice News'un "medya patronları" Melissa Hawkins ve Isaac Kingston Vice News binasının önünde tutuklandı. Tutuklamanın ardından savcı Richard McGregor, DCA & VCN TV'ye basın açıklamasında bulundu. Savcının önemli açıklaması şöyle;
"Kıymetli Vice Şehri halkı, son zamanlarda süregelen organize suç örgütlerinin, uyuşturucu baronları ve çeşitli yüz kızartıcı, kitlesel suçlarla karşımıza çıkan eli silahlı insanların boy boy fotoğraflarını paylaşarak ve onları adalete teslim ederek, siz kıymetli halkımıza en sağlıklı en objektif görüşü kanıtlarımızla sunduk. İşin bir diğer kısmı ise bu şahısları destekleyen, üzerinden rant sağlamaya çalışan ve bu ülkenin kolluk kuvvetlerinin gece gündüz durmadan bu organizasyonlara karşı yaptığı balyoz etkisi gösteren operasyonlarını aşağılama, halka karşı bunu hatalı müdahale olarak gösterme gibi çabaları içerisinde barındıran bir kurumdan bahsedeceğiz.

YARIŞMA BİTTİ, KAVGA BİTMEDİ
El Corona bölgesinde yirmi bin dolar ödüllü rap turnuvası düzenlendi ve birçok kişi bu yarışmaya katıldı. Yarışma başlamadan atışmalar başladı, birkaç kişi tartışmalar yüzünden yumruk yumruğa girdi ve birbirine saldırdı. Katılımcıların kelime bilgilerinin değerlenmesi için düzenlenen rap turnuvası yumruklarla başladı.
Rap turnuvasının başına koyulan ödül yirmi bin dolardı. Bu ödülü kazanabilmek için birçok müzisyen bu turnuvaya katıldı. Henüz turnuva başlamadan bile bu kadar gerilen katılımcılar, turnuva başladığında kelime bilgileri ile rap dersi verdi.
Rap turnuvalarında genel olarak erkekler görülsede, iki kadın katılımcı vardı. Katılımcı kadınlardan birisi ilk turda elendi.

YARIŞMANIN BİRİNCİSİ!
İsmini paylaşmayan fakat sahne adını "Barbie" olarak tanıtan kadın yarışmacı, altı yarışmacıyı birden eleyerek rap turnuvasının birincisi oldu. Yirmi bin doları kazanan "Barbie" turnuvanın en iyisi olarak değerlendirilerek kendine büyük bir kitle edindi.
Barbie'nin final turunda rakibi Diego, yarışmaya katılan dinleyiciler tarafından "ezberci" olarak tanımlandı.
KAVGAYA MÜDAHALE EDİLMEDİ
Turnuva başlamadan kavga başladı, kavgaya kimse müdahale etmedi. Rap turnuvası için gelen iki katılımcı sözlü atışmalar sonucu yumruk yumruğa girdi. Turnuvayı izlemek için gelenler ve yarışmacılar kavga edenleri umursamadı. Turnuvayı yürüten organizatörler, kavga eden iki kişinin yarışmadan elendiğini ve eksik yarışmacı olarak turnuvanın devam edeceğini bildirdi. Gecenin sonunda turnuvayı düzenleyen organizatörler, kavga edenler için; "Buraya kavga etmek için değil, müzik yapmak için geldik.
