Michael Capretti, Las Venturas’ın tozlu kumarhane koridorlarında, dürüst ve kıt kanaat geçinen bir ailenin gölgesinde büyüse de ruhu her zaman o düzenin dışındaydı. Lise yıllarında bir gecelik hevesle çaldığı o parlak jant, aslında babasının alın terine duyduğu sessiz başkaldırının ilk somut adımıydı. Yıllar geçtikçe kendi başına döndürdüğü küçük çaplı işler, onu Pedrotti suç ailesinin ağır toplarından Salvatore Ferretti’nin radarına soktu. Ferretti’nin yanında iş öğrenmeye başladı. Pagani, ailenin en genç ve yakın zamanda yemin eden bir üyesiydi. Pagani ise, Salvatore Ferretti'nin referansı ile 29 yaşındaki bir bağlantı olan Capretti'yi yanına alıp Mob Alley'e doğru gitmek için hazırlıklara başladı.
