Joe İtalyanca bilmiyor, anlamıyor ve konuşamıyor. Babası pek alkolik ve tiryaki bir adam olduğundan, annesi ona bu konularda pek kızıyor, babasına benzemesini istemiyor. Onu genelde Mob Alley'deki evlerinin önünde sigara içerken veya alkol tüketirken görmeniz düşük bir ihtimal. Sokaktakilere ayak uydurmaya çalışıyor, şimdiden Mob Alley'e pek ısınmış. Annesi oldukça misafirperver bir kadın, Joe ile sohbet ederken ondan sık sık bahsettiğini fark edebilirsiniz.
